Getting Started

  • How can we trust and vet Bugout.Earth?

    Unfortunately we see a time in the future when our organization becomes a target.  For this reason we choose to maintain a certain level of privacy about our official business details.

    We Trust in the Lord, and we know that if you pray about whether Bugout.Earth will be right for your family He will give you the exact answer that you need.

  • How can I make payment?

    We accept all major credit cards as well as the cryptocurrencies Bitcoin(BTC), Lightcoin(LTC), and Monero(XMR).

    When purchasing a lease we accept ACH transfer and cryptocurrency only.

  • Can I bring my chickens and cow?

    Many times, Yes! Small farm animals, and livestock are all subject to the Landowner’s discretion. Each property has different rules and allowances for each. This will all be clearly laid out in the property sheet you receive.

    Some sites have community farms, cow, goat, or pig sharing. The possibilities are all up to you, the landowner, and the other patrons coming together as a community.

  • Can I bring my pets?

    Most of the time, Yes! Pets, small farm animals, and livestock are all subject to the Landowner’s discretion. Each property has different rules and allowances for each. This will all be clearly laid out in the property sheets you receive.

  • How do we securely communicate with Bugout.Earth?

    Bugout.Earth uses Protonmail for all our email communications. If you have Protonmail as well, all communications will be automatically encrypted End-to-End. If not, you will select a 4 digit pin that will unlock all emails that we send to you. These will still be End-to-End encrypted and not accessible by Google or Yahoo or whoever your email provider is.

  • How does Bugout.Earth safeguard my data?

    First of all, we take the confidentiality and security of our patrons very seriously. We store minimal data on our servers and after the vetting process is complete we move the data offline. This “air-gap” ensures that even if our servers or any affiliated accounts are hacked, your data will still be protected.

    All of our Tenants and Landowners are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Statement (NDA) which ensures that they will be legally held accountable if they are to ever leak or disclose sensitive and confidential information.

  • Does Bugout.Earth make a profit?

    Bugout.Earth is a non-profit company. We are run by 100% volunteers and the small commission that we take on leases are what funds our operation. Bugout.Earth does not pay any salaries.

  • My son is 25 years old and just got married, can he come with us to the bugout site?

    Your son will now fall under a separate policy now and will need to obtain his own lease. If he was previously on your purchased lease we can vet his new wife and add her with approval from the landowner. If he is not on a purchased lease, we will need to unlink him from your family unit so that he can start his own.

  • My elderly mother is 85 years old, can she come with my family?

    She sure can! She will need to pay her own background fee ($99) and when approved we will add her to your family group. The additional cost of the lease will remain the same:  $1401 (5yr) $2401 (10yr).

  • Does this include other family members?

    Each lease is good for 1 family unit to include only the names submitted in your application.

    Children under the age of 18 are included for free.

    Children over the age of 18, elderly parents, and single brothers and sisters must submit their own background check (1 check/ couple) and may then be added to your family unit to join ALL under 1 lease. The additional cost of the lease will remain the same:  $1401 (5yr) $2401 (10yr).

    Older married children/ brothers and sisters with families will need to go through the process on their own.

  • What am I paying for?
    • Initial Vetting Cost: $99
    • 5 year Bugout Lease: $1500 (one-time cost)
      • Due at lease signing: $1400 ($1500 – initial fee $99.99)
    • 10 year Bugout Lease $2500 (one-time cost)
      • Due at lease signing $2400 ($2500 – initial fee $99.99)
  • Can I get a bunker?

    It is possible. Some bugout sites have hardened structures that will support a small group of people. Large underground bunkers are relatively rare, however this would be a great initiative for a community effort!

  • Do I get to pick the site I’m going to lease?

    Yes! 100%. After you have made your way through our vetting process, we’ll start emailing you confidential and partially anonymous brochures. These will have all the details of the property as well as a verified picture of the landowners. You’ll have a full disclosure of all rules and policies as well as amenities of the sites. Once you decide on a site, we’ll contact the landowner and send them your semi-anonymous sheet for their approval.

  • Is it a good idea to wait to join until things start getting really bad?

    Absolutely not! We expect that we’ll be getting flooded if there is a sudden collapse. The best time to get vetted is right now while things are still relatively calm. Bugout sites are subject to availability and sometimes they fill up. You’re much better off to get prepared now and take your time “shopping around” for a site that’s going to work out perfectly for you.

  • How long does it take to get vetted?

    The entire process usually takes around 1 week. This can be longer if there is an extended queue or if you are slow to submit your documents/ questionnaire.

  • What are the steps to get vetted?
    1. Fill out the form
    2. Pay the $99 fee with either your credit card or crypto currency
    3. Once your payment is processed we will send you the link to start your 3rd party background and credit check
    4. Complete your check and when we receive it back, we’ll consider you for approval to stage 2.
    5. Fill out the Stage 2 Questionnaire.
    6. Approval- We may have additional questions and clarifications we will email you about prior to final approval.
  • I’m still confused, how does this all work?

    Bugout.Earth is like the middle man or broker between you the tenant and the landowner of your potential bugout site. Once you’re approved, we’ll start sending you digital brochures of the sites that meet your criteria. You’ll be able to “shop around” for one that will work for you, and then we’ll facilitate signing of the lease and exchange of payment.

    Landowners will need to approve your family for the lease as well.

  • A bugout site is a super-secret piece of land we can go to and hide out from other people, right?

    No! A bugout site is a community first of all! It may be in a rural area and have provisions for privacy and security, but the #1 thing that will ensure survivability is a communal division of labor, talents, and resources.

    The day when we will need “The Mark” to buy and sell has been foretold. Whether this is a Social Credit Score, a microchip under your skin, or a vaccine passport, it will not matter in the least to you if you are able to slip away to your own community and exchange freely.

    When our established society fails us- and it will- there is going to be a period of chaos before the new system founded upon fairness, equality, and righteousness emerges. This is the critical point. If you believe that our system has a chance of saving, then by all means continue living in the rose bush. But if you believe in biblical prophecy and can see the writing on the wall, then you already know what’s going to happen. You should probably start planting your own daisies in a place where they can grow in peace.
